I’ve been super sick to the point where sitting up was making me nauseous. Forget about drawing (or eating). So I decided to make a two part post. This is Bastet. Cat Goddess of Egypt, daughter of Ra. She represents the home, women’s secrets, fertility and childbirth just to name a few. She is a guide and helper to those that enter the afterlife. Normally she is depicted in all black or bronze but honestly, I’m still feeling under the weather so painting was out for me.
