So…I totally skipped a number. 34 if you’re paying attention. I don’t know how I miscounted and forgot. So, I hurriedly scribbled some gesture drawings to post for today. I’ve decided to go back to the drawing board (pun intended). I’ve started a painting and drawing study. I’m pretty excited about it.

My mini hiatus really knocked me off my game. So I’m going back to the fundamentals of drawing and painting. I’m taking a painting class and I’ve joined a Life Drawing group.  Hone [my skills] is my middle name. I’ll post some of the character and form studies I complete while in the group. It won’t be everyday but it will be often enough.

On top of all that, I’m currently redoing my office/studio. There’s no desk or floor at the moment. I’m typing this post sitting on a floor pillow, on top of a yoga mat, resting on the sub-floor in my empty office. It’s hard to create without a dedicated place to work. But perseverance is my new middle name. I change middle names a lot, huh?

I want to make sure I’m not biting off more than I can chew for the next couple weeks.
